Michael DussekDescribed by BBC Music Magazine as "an outstanding artist" Michael Dussek has,since his Wigmore Hall debut in 1980, pursued a varied career as chamber musician, singer's accompanist and soloist. In addition to being a founder member of Endymion he is a member of the Dussek Piano Trio and Primavera and has performed at most of Britain's major concert venues and festivals, including many BBC broadcasts.

Internationally he has partnered leading soloists in many of the world's major concert halls. From 1985-1999 he toured extensively with cellist Ofra Harnoy, with whom he also recorded works by Beethoven, Dvorak, Prokofiev and Schubert for RCA, winning a Juno award. He has also partnered distinguished violinists Cho-Liang Lin, Antje Weithaas and Xue Wei. In 2006 his 13-concert tour of Japan with violinist Ryu Goto included a Suntory Hall recital recorded live for CD and DVD by Deutsche Grammophon.

In all Michael has recorded around 50 CDs. Fanfare Magazine described his Hyperion recording of Britten's solo piano music as "one of the most magical discs of Britten yet made" and his recent recordings for Dutton Epoch of York Bowen's first three Piano Concertos with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Vernon Handley have received outstanding reviews. Other notable releases have included Bax songs with Ian Partridge and Jean Rigby, and Rubbra violin sonatas with Krysia  Osostowicz, which was short-listed for a Gramophone Award.

Michael is a Professor and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music.
