Endymion’s 2017 concert diary is already taking shape and on Tuesday 24th January 2017, 7.30pm the group will be in the beautiful Lake District to perform for Cockermouth Music Society at the United Reformed Church, Main Street, Cockermouth. ‘Postcards from Central Europe’ is a boisterous programme of music from Czechoslovakia, Germany and Hungary as Endymion in duo, trio & sextet configurations deliver works by Martinu, Brahms & Dohnanyi. Krysia Osostowicz (violin), Clara Biss (violin), Asdis Valdimarsdottir (viola), Jane Salmon (cello), Michael Dussek (piano), Rob Plane (clarinet) & Steve Stirling (horn) will form the ensemble.
